Help us bring the Jewish Community together
On May 14th, Israel and the Worldwide Jewish Community will be celebrating the 76th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth (Israel’s Independence Day).
For the last 22 years, our committee of volunteers has organized the largest Yom Haatzmaut celebration in the diaspora in downtown Montreal. The celebration consists of a march through downtown as well as a one hour live concert with song and dance at Place du Canada.
Although we receive some donated services, there are many expenses that must be paid for in order to ensure the success of our celebration. All monies raised go toward outside suppliers that provide buses, sound and light systems, road signs, city and parking fees, and the Jumbotron to name a few.
It is only because of donors like you that this event can bring the Jewish Community together to show our unending support for Israel.
This year we are planning a special program in celebration of the 76th anniversary. We hope we can count on you for a special donation, so we will be able to meet our commitments. With your support, we will be able to show the media and the Government how Montreal stands with and celebrates Israel.
